Youth Service Summit
While working for generationOn, I was part of a team that organized the 2014 NYC Youth Service Summit. The purpose of this one-day program was to provide students from all five boroughs of New York City the chance to participate in hands-on service projects and brainstorm ways that could get involved in their community. At the event, 207 hours of youth service benefited nine different local agencies. However, our mission as event organizers was to inspire reflection and continued civic engagement.
